Cult Kingpin arrested in Anambra

An alleged leader of a cult group, Senior Vikings Confraternity, SVC,Ogugua Igwebuike, and seven other members, said to be terrorising Enugwu-Ukwu, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State have been arrested by Special Anti Cultism Squad, SPACS, of the State Police Command Others arrested alongside Igwebuike were Ebuka Paul Chidukwe, Kosolu Ifene, Onwune Onuorah, Ewele Okeke, Oloh Chike, Ogugua Maduka and Odoemenam Chinedu. PoliceThe Commander of SPACS, Mr Christopher Bassey, a Chief Superintendent of Police, disclosed that items recovered from the gang include one cut-to-size locally-made gun, one axe, one expended cartridge, one berrett cap, assorted charms, one knife, pieces of clothes, liquid substance in two plastic bottles believed to be cocaine and heroin and a box of matches. Bassey, however, advised parents to “always monitor the type of company their children keep, because they would not be spared from facing the wrath of the law when caught in any act of cultism and other criminal activities.”
