UCHE ONYEAGUCHA GOVERNORSHIP CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION
PUBLIC NOTICE
WARNING TO BUYERS AND OFF-TAKERS OF ILLEGALLY ACQUIRED PROPERTY BY GOV. OKOROCHA ADMINISTRATION
The GENERAL PUBLIC is hereby put on notice that Gov. Ethelbert Okorocha and his agents have been going about forcibly and rampantly revoking, transferring, dispossessing and disposing of properties otherwise legitimately acquired, purchased and procured by corporate individuals and citizens of Imo State in times past.
Some members of the unsuspecting general public have been deceived into buying these dubiously acquired lands, stores, stalls, machines and equipment legitimately owned by other law abiding citizens, corporate bodies and the government itself, for cash.
This is a common practice among corrupt and dictatorial regimes in their dying days in office. We therefore advise the general public to refrain from transacting with this regime henceforth on any issue concerning purchase of land, market stores, Motor Park and sand dredging concessions, revenue collection and other bogus contracts.
The incoming government will surely review, revisit, rectify and subsequently cancel all such dubious contracts, sales, tenements and concessions, and return same to their rightful and legitimate owners using the due process of law.
All those with genuine cases of forceful and illegal dispossession of their rightfully owned properties are encouraged to safeguard original title documents and other proofs of ownership of such properties, and are assured of prompt restoration of their illegally acquired property.
Please note that it is in your interest to comply.
Signed,
MacDonald Enwere
